At Active Balance Physiotherapy and Performance, we will be introducing a fee increase to selected Physiotherapy Services as of July 1, 2024.

Medicare (Enhanced Primary Care Program)

We will continue to bulk bill patients with an Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC) and DVA Patients providing they meet the following criteria:

Bulk Billing Criteria:

Children under 18 years of age
Pensioners and Commonwealth Concession Card Holders
DVA (D904 referral required)

Patients who do not meet the above criteria but have an EPC will be charged a gap fee of $19.65.

Privately Billed Patients:

Private fees will be $80/half hour consultation.

EFTPOS facilities are available in addition to HICAPS to allow on the spot claiming with Private Health Insurance.

NDIS Patients

NDIS – Physiotherapy fees will be billed at $190/hour.

Lifetime Care and Support Patients

Lifetime Care and Support – Physiotherapy fees will be billed at $190/hour.

Aged Care Package Patients

Aged Care Package – Physiotherapy fees will be billed at $180/hour for in clinic treatment.

Please Note – 24 Hour Cancellation Policy

We respect that your time is valuable and we appreciate that you understand ours is too.

At Active Balance Physiotherapy and Performance, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations that occur 24 hours or more before the scheduled time can be re-booked at no additional cost to the client. This allows adequate time for us to contact patients on our waiting list who need to be seen urgently.

We completely understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment; we just ask that where possible you give us as much notice as you can.

The following patient subgroups will be charged a cancellation fee for non attendance or late cancellation, as per recommended legislative guidelines:

NDIS
Aged Care Packages
Lifetime Care and Support

The fee will be the full amount as per scheduled service agreements.

Motor Accident Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance will not cover charges for non-attendance, and therefore we ask that these clients be understanding in ensuring attendance or cancellation >24 hours prior to the appointment.
